I’ve loved scarlet macaws since I was little because of their gorgeous, rainbow-coloured plumage. Did you know that they live 40-50 years in the wild and once they find a mate, they keep that monogamous pair bond for life? In fact, they’re seldom found alone except when one bird has to incubate their eggs and the other needs to feed.
